Students attending English schools walk further than those attending French schools in Metro.

Students in Kindergarten to Grade 2 attending a French school are picked up by a bus as long as live one kilometer or more from the school. Other students attending French schools are picked up as long as they live outside a 1.5-kilometer radius.

However, students in Metro's English schools must live at least 2.4 kilometers away in order to receive bus services.

This policy has to change !

  1. I live in Moncton NB and the the French are given special privileges here and the rest of us are treated like second class citizens.

I spoke with District 2 Supervisor of District.

He told me that District 2 (English school district) is adhering to the policys of the Provincial government and that District 1 ( The French school district) went against those policys and brought in their own.

Imagine that, The Francophones are in control of the French schools and the government is controlling the English schools!!

If the government has no business in the affairs of French schools then they should also have no business in the affairs of English schools.

What ever happened to the Program Of Equal Opportunity?

It seems that anyone who isn't a Francophone is considered less than 0 in New Brunswick!
